Automatic Antenna Tuner

The Alinco EDX-3 is an automatic antenna tuner. It can operate over 3.5 to 30 MHz with a 23 foot (7 m) or larger antenna. It can operate from 1.8 to 30 MHz with a 40 foot (12 m) or larger element. The EDX-3 automatically stores up to 250 frequencies to decrease tuning time. Retuning memorized frequencies only takes a second. This tuner reduces output during tune up to reduce interference to other stations. Maximum input power is 150 watts SSB PEP or 100 watts continuous. Input impedance is 50 ohms. It requires 13.8 VDC (supplied from the transceiver). Includes two "U" bolts, hardware, coax cable to PL-259 and control cable and manual. Size:  9 x 4 x 16 inches 8 lbs.
