The Icom IC-471A is similar to the Icom IC-271A, but covers the 440 MHz band instead of 2 meters. Power output is 1 to 25 watts. Encode is built in. Additional adjustment controls can be accessed via a trap door on the top panel. The antenna jack is N type.
The Icom IC-471H is a similar to the IC-471A but it is high power. Power output is 10 to 75 watts.
