The Icom SM-10 was designed for base station use and consists of an electret condenser microphone element with a compressor amplifier, plus tunable equalizer for maximum control of audio characteristics of your transmitted signal. Four individual equalizer amplifiers are installed to adjust your transmitter audio for different applications. The compression level may be set to one of three different levels. The uni-directional microphone has a high audio-to-noise ratio and effectively suppresses background noise. The output level can be monitored with the VU-meter on the SM-10 top panel. Frequency shifts are easy with the convenient Up/Down switches. Power is drawn from the transceiver (13.8 VDC 15 ma). This 100 ohm desk mic features an 8 pin plug. This mic works with the Icom 27, 28, 37, 38, 45, 47, 120, 271, 275, 375, 471, 475, 575, 735, 745, 751, 761, 900, 1200, 1271 and 3200.
