The Baofeng BF-888 is a compact F.C.C. Part 90 hand-held transceiver providing 4 watts in the frequency range of 400-470 MHz. It may be programmed with up to 16 channels. It has CTCSS encode, LED flashlight, low battery alert, VOX and English/Chinese voice guide. It will fit in your shirt pocket with room to spare at only 2.36 x 4.55 x 1.3". 5.4 oz. The BF-888 comes with 3.7V 1500 mAh Li-ion battery, AC drop-in charger, standard SMA antenna, printed manual, wrist strap and belt clip.
This device will require the appropriate operating license based on frequency of operation.
It will be programmed with common amateur frequencies when you receive it.
To reprogram this radio you will need the common two-pin USB programming cable (#5877 or equivalent) and software.

The BF-888 is a CE and FCC certified [FCC ID: ZP5BF-888S] business radio that requires a commercial license or amateur license to operate.
