The Wouxun KG-UV5D-24 dual band HT provides 5 watts on 137-174 and 4 watts on 420-512 MHz. Many advanced features are supported including: 128 alphanumeric memories with scanning, multi frequency steps (5, 6.25, 10, 12.5, 25, 50 or 100 kHz), CTCSS (50 groups), DCS (105 groups), CTCSS/DCS Scan (Digital/Analog), 1750Hz tone, DTMF encode, high-low power, busy channel lock-out, VOX, wide-narrow bandwidth (25kHz/12.5kHz) and keypad lock. Many operational functions and parameters can be menu selected. There is a special SOS and stopwatch function. It even receives the regular FM broadcast band (76-108 MHz). Please note that the antenna jack on the radio is an SMA male. Your Wouxun KG-UV5D comes with:  Li-ion battery, intelligent drop-in charger, flexible SMA-J (female) antenna and belt clip.

The Wouxun KG-UV5D-62 is a "6 meter" version of the Wouxun KG-UV5D-24 with 4 watts on 50-54 MHz and 5 watts on 137-174. Includes longer flexible antenna.

The KG-UV5D is a CE and FCC certified [FCC ID: WVTWOPUXUN07] business radio that requires a commercial license to operate.
