The Yaesu VX-1R is a microminiature 2 meter/440 MHz handheld with extensive receive frequency coverage, providing local-area two-way amateur communications along with unmatched monitoring capability. Its incredible size allows you to take it anywhere. Receive range is: 0.5-1.7, 76-108, 108-999 MHz (less cellular). This means you can hear the AM and FM broadcast bands, TV audio (prior to HDTV switch-over), aircraft and public service channels.
Power output is 0.5 watts with battery or 1 watt with external power adapter. Includes lithium ion battery and 80 minute rapid charger, SMA antenna, belt clip, plus a wrist strap. This HT is only 3 3/16x 1 7/8 x 1 inches. Click here for specifications.
