The Kenwood TH-G71A is a dual bander with all the right features. The ergonomic design, illuminated keys and backlit display all combine to make operation a breeze. The menu mode allows you to customize the TH-G71A by adjusting all major settings to your choice.

Besides being easy to use, the TH-G71A also boasts extraordinary power - up to 6 watts (VHF) or 5.5 (UHF) with external power. Plus you get three RF output levels:  5 watts (PB-39), 0.5 watt and an extra low 50 mW. There are 200 memory channels, with six alphanumeric characters, allowing you to store transmit and receive frequencies independently. Multiple scan functions are available including programmable band scan, memory scan with memory channel lockout, MHz scan and call scan. For each band there are TO (time-operated), CO (carrier-operated) and seek scan resume modes.
