The Standard C178A is an ultra-compact 2 meter handheld that is versatile enough to satisfy your every need. Each of the 40 non-volatile memories can be loaded with repeater shift, paging mode, code squelch mode, tone squelch mode and encode-decode tone. An optional 200 channel memory EPROM is also available. The extended receive range allows reception from 110-174 MHz. Scanning features include: scan-busy, pause and hold. DTMF paging and coded squelch come standard. RF output is selectable between 50 mW, 0.35W and 2.5W. A full 5W is available with 12VDC input.
