The Icom IC-W21AT dual bander offers impressive performance on 144 and 440 MHz. Independent tuning knobs and backlit display and keypad are also featured. The transceiver's two dials are used for independent tuning of the VHF and UHF band. This conveniently allows independent adjustment of either band. The display will also show both band frequencies at once. Independent main and sub bands allow you to receive both VHF and UHF simultaneously; or use the V/V and U/U functions for receiving two frequencies on the same band. You get 70 memories (32+32 regular, 2+2 scan edge and 1+1 call). Other features include: impressive audio, pocket beep, PL encode, auto power off and five power levels. Receive range is: 138-174 and 440-450 MHz. Tuning steps include: 5, 10, 12.5, 15, 20, 25, 30, 50, 100, 1000 kHz. With external 13.8 VDC power applied, five RF power outputs are available: 5, 3.5, 1.5, 0.5 watts and 15 milliwatts. The Icom W21AT comes with: flexible BNC antenna, belt clip, wrist strap, BP-131 battery pack and BC77A battery wall charger. Size: 2.2 x 4.9 x 1.4 inches 14 oz (57x125x35mm 390g). The Icom IC-X21AT is similar to the W21AT, but covers the 440 MHz/1.2 GHz band instead of 144/440 MHz. Output is 5 watts on 440 MHz and 1 watt on 1.2 GHz.
