The Heil Goldline GM4 mic is another innovative product from Bob Heil. It was created specifically for full-range smooth articulate SSB audio with a wide 60Hz-16kHz response. A +4dB peak @2 kHz gives the new Goldline microphone excellent voice articulation along with it’s “big bottom” low end that is all so important for producing a well balanced studio quality SSB signal. This GM4 version is equipped with the new full-range mic element and the famous DX Dream Machine HC-4 element.
The Heil Goldline GM5 is equipped with the new full-range mic element and the HC-5 element. The GM5 is shown above in optional SM-1 Shock Mount. It has been replaced by the GM5.1.
The Heil Goldline GM5.1 is equipped with the full-range mic element and the HC-5.1 element.
The Heil Goldline GM5V "Vintage" is a high impedance model for use with tube "boatanchor" type radios. A selectable passive-equalization circuit rolls off last octave and a half which allows you to match the response to various transmitted 30,000 ohms output impedance.
Each version requires the appropriate CC-1 cable adapter (8 foot). Click here to view interior image.
