![]() The Heil PR781 Proline Mic is a close relative of of the original PR780 and PR780 PTT mics. The PR 781 provides electrical and acoustical performance identical to that of the PR 780, but in a more compact enclosure that is eye-catching and downright beautiful. The PR 781 has the same full-bodied tone quality, with crisp high-frequency articulation, made famous by the original PR 780. It works well with the Yaesu FT1000 Mark V, FT-DX9000, Kenwood TS2000/870/850 and all of the Icom Pro and 7800 models (not suggested for 706 or early Icom). The PR781 employs a Heil PR dynamic mic element, is balanced 600 ohms ouput 3 pin, has -55 dB output level and has a black satin epoxy finish. The PR781 comes only with the SM-3 mount, as shown above. It does not include base, HS2 or CC-1 XLR cable. It can be mounted in the optional SM-2B. You must purchase a base and the appropriate CC-1 XLR cable for your radio.
The PR781-G version is the same, but with a gold colored windscreen.
