The Kaito KA801 is an innovative portable radio covering AM (520-1710 kHz), shortwave (2.3-23 MHz) and FM. The radio features 225 memories (100 SW, 100 FM and 25 AM). Tuning is via up-down buttons and scanning plus it has a conventional tuning knob. There is also a useful ATS (Auto Tuning Station) function that tunes available signals and stores them in memory. The KA801 has a built-in clock with sleep function. Other features include: headphone jack, orange backlit LCD, DX-Local switch, 9/10 kHz MW step, 31 level volume control, battery level indicator, and battery charger. The coolest feature of this radio is its built-in 2GB MP3 player/recorder. You can record directly from the radio or "live" via the integrated mic. MP3 and WMA decode is supported plus there are three play modes. The KA801 has built-in flash memory and Mini - USB 2.0 jack. 2.7 x 4 x 0.6 inches.

The KA801 comes with:  AC adapter, BL-5C rechargeable lithium ion battery, stereo ear buds, USB cable and user manual.
