The FreePlay Summit is a truly self-sufficient radio. It can operate from wind-up dynamo, solar energy, or via its rechargeable battery. It tunes longwave, medium wave [AM], shortwave from 5.9 to 15.6 MHz and FM. The feature-packed, compact design makes it ideal for a global trek or a trip to the beach. The Summit features dial lock, snooze, 12/24 hour alarm clock and 30 station presets. The AM band tuning may be set for 9 or 10 kHz step sizes. Thirty presets [10 AM, 10 FM, 5 LW, 5 SW] can store your favorite stations. Click here to view controls.

This radio includes a wind-up wire antenna, an AC power adapter [120 VAC 60 Hz] with three different plug adapters. A full AC charge may take up to 24 hours. It full charge by direct sunlight will take approximately 40 hours. Size:  6.8 x 3.5 x 3.1 inches 1.3 lbs. (700 g).
