The supplied Grundig G1000A case can also serve as a tilt-stand as shown above. It is primary purpose is to protect the radio. When fully closed, holes are provided to allow the radio's sound to be heard. The tuning knob and volume may be adjusted, but the tuning LCD cannot be viewed when the case is shut.
