The Sangean SG-792 covers AM from 530-1620 kHz, FM 88-108 MHz and shortwave in seven bands. Shortwave bands cover:  2.3-5.2, 5.85-6.2, 7.1-7.5, 9.45-9.9, 11.45-11.98, 15.1-15.55 and and 17.45-18.06 MHz. Features include:  tune LED indicator, earphone jack 3.5mm and wrist strap. Audio output is 150mW to the built-in 2.5 inch speaker. This radio operates from two AA cells (not supplied) plus there is a 3 VDC [—] input jack on the left panel. 6.7 x 3.1 x 1.5 inches. 15.7 oz.

The Sangean SG-792L adds coverage of the longwave band 150-281 kHz, but deletes 2.3-5.2 MHz band.

The Sangean SG-792AL has the same coverage as the SG-792L but adds VHF air 108-136 MHz (shares band with FM band).
