The Grundig Yacht Boy 230 covers longwave 140-290 kHz, AM 515-630, FM band plus it has 13 shortwave bands:  2.3-2.5, 3.2-3.4, 3.9-4, 4.75-5.06, 5.8-6.2, 7.1-7.5, 9.5-9.9, 11.65-12.05, 13.6-13.8, 15.1-15.6, 17.55-17.9, 21.45-21.85 and 25.6-26.1 MHz. This radio features:  easy to use controls, electronic band switching, electronic volume control, three position tone switch, tuning indicator, wrist strap and earphone jack. The LCD display shows clock, dual-alarm and timer functions. Operation is from 3 AA [UM3] batteries (not included) or 4.5 - 6 VDC {center neg} external power adapter. 7.25 x 4.5 x 1.5".
