The Radio Shack® Pro-84 racing scanner is an affordable 200 channel (ten banks of 20) scanner with great features. Frequency coverage is 25-54, 108-174, 406-512 plus 806-956 MHz (less cellular). This scanner comes loaded with your favorited NASCAR® driver's frequencies. The Signal Stalker® feature lets you "lock-on" to nearby radios without knowing the frequencies and without having to program that frequency. The Pro-84 includes a great set of headphones. And these are comfortable padded headphones that feature individual volume controls and provide high isolation.

The backlit LCD display makes for easy night time operation. Operation is from two AA cells providing flexibility in choice of batteries:  alkaline for long life, rechargeable for economy (batteries can be charged while in the scanner). There is a small switch in the battery compartment to select battery type. Only 2¾ x 4½ x 1½ inches.

This scanner comes with:  headphones, belt clip, flexible BNC antenna and Owner's Manual.

Special Note:
This model was obtained on close-out by one of our suppliers. They were brand new, but did not carry a Radio Shack® warranty. They had a six month limited warranty directly through Universal Radio.
