The Bearcat 100 16 channel, 8 band, handheld that does not require crystals. Programming is easy. Just key in the desired frequency on the keypad. You can see the entire frequency on the LCD display. You can also use the search function to automatically find new signals. You can also use automatic lockout to skip channels not of current interest. Scanning is at 16 channels per second. There is a Battery Low indicator.

External jacks include:  antenna, earphone and DC external power. This radio operates from six AA NiCad cells provided. Originally supplied with earphone, carry case and AC charging adapter. 3 x 7 x 1.25 inches 16 oz.
