The Bearcat 12 is a five-band 10 channel crystal controlled scanner. Crystals are not provided. This radio will scan these channels and automatically stop on a channel when a call is heard. Each channel features a red LED and an individual lock-out switch allowing you to skip channels not of interest at the time. There is a delay switch. The Bearcat 12 features a metal cabinet. Scanning is variable up to 20 channels per second. The rear panel has a Motorola-type antenna jack, speaker jack and tape record jack. Operation is from 117 VAC or 12 VDC.
