The Bearcat 250 is a 50 channel (in five banks) base scanner with five band coverage. Channel Lockout allows you to skip channels you don't want to hear. Programming is easy. Just key in the desired frequency. You can see the entire frequency on the red LED display. Scanning is at 5 or 15 channels per second. Automatic search and store is available. Priority checks for activity on channel 1 every two seconds.

External jacks include:  Motorola jack antenna, external speaker, record output, remote activation and 12 VDC external power. Supplied with AC adapter. A vinyl steel cabinet is featured. Memories are non-volatile. 10.675 x 3 x 7.675 inches 5 lbs.
