The Icom RC-12 is a remote control option expressly for the IC-R7000. It allows you to control your receiver from across the room including volume, mode, tuning, memory select, enter frequencies, etc. In order for RC-12 to operate the supplied printed circuit board must be plugged into the IC-R7000.
The RC-12 requires two AA cells (not supplied).
