The Sony ICF-C233 Dream Machine is an economical AM/FM digital PLL synthesized clock radio. It features digital frequency readout and has five memory presets. It also features a dual alarm (radio sound and buzzer). The Sleep timer may be set for 90, 60, 30 or 15 minutes. The built in speaker is 2.675 inches (66 mm).

The digital radio tuner tunes AM from 530 to 1710 kHz and FM from 87.5 to 88 MHz. A wire antenna is featured for the FM band and a built-in Ferrite rod is used for the the AM band. The clock is 12 hour format. 120 VAC 60 Hz
