The MFJ-8214 (PLL MR-318WM) portable receiver is designed with the marine enthusiast in mind. This four band digital radio receives AM 520-1720 kHz in 10 kHz steps, FM stereo 87.3-108.1 MHz in 100 kHz steps. It receives ten NOAA weather channels. Plus it receives these VHF marine channels: 01-28, 60-74 and 77-88

The top of the radio features switches for Power On/Off, FM stereo/mono, Speaker On/Off and Lock. The Lock switch deactivates the tuning, band and memory buttons. The A total of 30 memory presets are available (10 AM, 10 FM, 5 Weather and 5 Marine). Operates from two AA cells (not supplied) or an external 3 VDC [Center Neg.] source. Audio output to the built in speaker is 80 mW and 15/15 mW to the 3.5 mm stereo earphone jack.

Stereo ear buds are included. 5.2 x 3 x 1 inches (130x70x30 mm).
