The Barker & Williamson ASW-5 window-mount shortwave listening antenna is just the ticket for apartment/condo dwellers. It easily clamps to a window and extends out to bring in more shortwave stations. The antenna consists of a sturdy aluminum bracket and features a loading coil mounted to an insulator. The whip antenna can be extended to any length from 22 to 58 inches. A 10 foot length of coaxial lead-in cable is included. (This cable does not have a plug for the radio attached to it). You would have to solder on a PL259, BNC, KOK-PAL or mini plug to fit the external antenna jack of your shortwave receiver.
