The McKay Dymek DA-100 is a quality, general coverage active receiving antenna (not for transmit). It provides excellent performance from 50 kHz to 30 MHz. The DA-100 system consists of an outdoor preamp with 4 foot 8 inch (1.5 meters) telescopic element, 50 foot (15.2 meters) of RG-58/U coax lead-in and control box 9 x 5 x 9 inches. The DA-100E source voltage is selectable from a switch on rear panel, at 110-120 or 220-240 VAC. Output impedance is selectable at 50, 100 or 500 ohms. A three position attenuator is also featured (0, -10 and -20 dB). The rear panel has an RCA phono output jack to the receiver. There is also an RCA aux antenna input jack. The outdoor antenna element may be pole or surface mounted.

The McKay Dymek DA-100M (Marine) was designed for marine use. It utilizes a four foot, one piece fiberglass element in place of the telescopic metal whip on the regular version. It has corrosive resistant fittings.

Please note that early production DA-100 units did not feature the antenna impedance-attenuator switch.
