HF +6M Amateur Transceiver
The Patcomm PC9000 covers the HF amateur bands plus 6 meters in CW and SSB modes. The bands are selected by pushing the band button selecting: 160, 80, 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, 12, 10 and 6 meters. Power output may be selected at 5 or 40 watts (20 watts on 6M). This radio does not have general coverage receive. We noted quite a few birdies, which is typical for this radio. It has a digital display, meter, built-in iambic keyer, RIT, lock, NB and 4 tuning steps. It also has a PC keyboard input port on the right panel of the radio to provide additional control capability such as sending CW and tuning the radio up/down. The rear panel has a large heat sink. The bottom panel has the speaker and a flip stand. This radio requires 8 Amps at 13.8 VDC. With DC cable and original Owner's Manual which is supplied in a 3 ring binder.
