The Icom IC-821A is a multi-mode 2 meter/440 transceiver. Output on 2 meters is 35W SSB, 45W FM/CW. Output on UHF is 30W SSB, 40W FM/CW. It has a 100 Hz digital display and dual VFOs. The rear panel has various I/O connection. This system includes the HM-12 hand mic, original Owner's Manual and DC cord. We have replaced the front panel and top panel. The Icom IC-821A is a multi-mode 2 meter/440 transceiver. Output on 2 meters is normally 35W SSB, 45W FM/CW. Output on UHF is normally 30W SSB, 40W FM/CW. It has a 100 Hz digital display and dual VFOs. The rear panel has various I/O connection. The top panel has a speaker. This radio is not dead, but it is very sick. On 2 meters it receives fine, but only transmits a carrier (no sound). The 440 band does not receive or transmit. Subband is defective. This radio is sold final-sale, AS-IS for parts. The cabinet is in good condition. With photocopy of the Owner's Manual only (no mic or DC cord). S/N 1073. [11/12]
