AM/SW Receiver
The Sony TR-724 is an early (circa 1960) Sony AM and SW receiver. Shortwave coverage is 3.9 to 12 MHz. The right side features the volume and tuning knobs and an earphone jack. The rear panel has an external antenna jack and a switch to select AM or SW. Controls are scratchy and shortwave sensitivity does not seem very good. Operates from a 9 volt battery (not supplied). The whip antenna for SW is removable and stored on the leather case. The leather case has some tares.  [02/11]
