Medium Wave Receiver
The Freshman Masterpiece was a very popular receiver in the mid1920s. It covers 520 to 1500 kHz (please note it does NOT tuner shortwave). It was powered from an "A" battery (6V) and "B" battery (45 or 90 V) which are not included. The rear panel has battery input terminals. The top panel opens for convenient access to the tubes. Includes photocopy of the schematic and copy of Rich Post's authoritative restoration article in the November 2016 issue of The Spectrum Monitor (... a publication we highly recommend).
